January 2026 BCC Pastor Letter and Programs

Dear Family and Friends,

Lets be thankful for the year 2025 for the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ and anticipate His fervent love and care as we enter into 2026. In 2025 we did said farewell to our loved ones Ma Evelyn and one of our elders Uncle U Naw Tawng the seeds of the good news and, their prayers and commitment to BCC Sdney will never be forgotten. We thank God for all of our church volunteers, prayer warriors, Sunday School teachers, youth workers, leaders of men, women, youth and young adults, transporters, maintenance, catering, building and mission works all showed unity and love implementing church mission statement of Celebrating God’s Holy presence, Demonstrating the love of Christ to God and to each other and Educating God’s people. We experienced the theme of 2025 as we studied Philippians epistle and Philippians 4:19 “My God shall supply all your needs according to the riches in glory” “Jehovah Jireh” our provider. Praise the Lord indeed, for our church ministries, mission and fulfilling His vision for BCC Sydney Worship/Evangelism/Loving/Learning/Serving God provided for us all. Let’s be thankful for the word of God in this brand-new year 2026.

As prophet Jeremiah spoke to Israelites in Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man whose trusts is in the Lord and whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream, it does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green, it has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

This text is coming from the context of God’s faithfulness and Israel rebellion against God’s will. Big failure awaits when we turn against God and rely of other people, material and spiritual dark forces. However, God’s is faithful enough to warn, remind and bless His people through Jeremiah. The word of God is our strength, our fortress, our light, our salvation and the greatest provision for our daily needs and wants. Let us all rely in God with all our needs and wants fully trusting in our challenges and mission in 2026 because God is our confidence and hope, He will help us to stand firm, to grow stronger, to be fresh and green and to produce the fruit of righteousness, peace, love and generosity throughout 2026. God bless you all and have a very blessed new year 2026.

December 2025 Praise Points

Praise God for all December God’s 2025 programs went well with success in BCC Sydney last festive season with God’s provision.
Praise God for all church prayer teams actively praying and interceding on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, FNL with youth and Young Adults.
Praise God for answers of prayers during December for healings, helps and salvation.
Praise the Lord for successful year 12 students in 2025.

Praise God for continuing ministries of Wollongong, Wagga, SYNA local and global missions.
Praise God for church neighbours for understanding and good relationship with us.
Praise God for men and women, forever young group, youth and Young adults and children groups love and care for one another.
Praise God as Regents Park Christian School is our temporary worship venue during renovation period.

January 2025 Prayer points

Pray for Peace and stability in Myanmar as civil war is getting very serious with lots of bloodshed and internally displaced people by civil war, and earthquake and floods.
· Pray Aunty Dolly Mya Han recovery from a successful hip operation.
· Pray for world peace including Israel and Jerusalem, USA, China, India, Sudan, Ukarine, Russia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Thailand, South and North Korea, Yemin, Syria, Lebanon and Palestinian.
· Pray for refugees and internally displaced people in Gaza, Lebanon, West Bank, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Ukraine, Africa.
· Pray for SYNA mission continuous outreaches and assistance locally and globally.
· Pray for our family members who have children with special needs.
· Pray for complete healing for Doreen Tun, Ko Joe, Ma Lwin Mar Aye, Ma Si Si WA, Aunty Nwe , Aunty Tin Tin Myint, Ko James Thet (Eyes), Uncle Maurice, Jem Apostle, Daw Khin Khin Win as they battle with health issues and ongoing treatment.
· Pray for our BCC Sydney alliance churches in Australia and world-wide.
· Pray for our church renovation works in 2026.
· Pray for children to have a safe and enjoyable school holidays.
· Pray for January 12-19 Maesot and Chiangmai 21-23/2026 Thailand mission outreach 2026 to be successful.
