September 2026 BCC Pastor Letter and Programs

Dear Family and Friends,

Goodness of the Lord running after us at Sydney Springs is here 2026. Theme for this month is LPJ, love, peace and joy. God gives us seasons to know His love and to love Him more, all beauty around us is expressing His love and mercies in flowers, in the fields, in our gatherings and in the sky, God sent His son for us to restore beauty to restore our joy and to celebrate us in the beauty of Jesus Christ resurrection. Long winter days are gone as spring time arrived plants, grass, trees are now afresh with the blessing of springs, we give thanks to the Lord for warm weather, spring dews and fresh rain, Genesis 8:22 after the flood God makes a covenant with Noah, stating, “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall never cease.” This is God’s promise to sustain the earth and show the beauty of His fervent love. Spring reveals the spiritual renewal, refreshment that believers experience through our faith in Jesus. “Isaiah 55:10-11 uses the image of rain and snow which are part of the seasonal changes, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the promises of God. “ For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering the earth , making it bud and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, so my word that proceeds from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.” Spring with its warmth and bountiful blessings, reflects a time of growth, beauty and freshness. This is a season of harvesting and counting our time of waiting diligently knowing the worthiness in this. Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus speaks of spiritual harvest: “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”

People are hunger and thirst for the word of God all over the world, our recent trip to Europe and US reminded us of spiritual harvests and those who are diligently showing the seed which is the word of God. The missionary spirit of Jesus Christ is everywhere, we thank God for those who love God and investing their times, resources and the good news of Jesus to the new generation and to those who are searching for the truth. God loves us and sent His begotten to us. we live in the fallen world and people are seeking peace in many ways. In this season let’s seek God’s peace in Jesus words John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. After the resurrection of Jesus when He met His disciples privately Jesus pronounced peace upon them in John 20:19 “Peace be unto you”. Let’s embrace God’s peace in our hearts and to rejoice in the Lord always, in winter, spring, autumn or summer because this is God’s will in Christ Jesus 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. God gives us spring time to experience His love, peace joy, praise the Lord.

August 2026 Praise Points

· Praise God for all of August 2026 church thanksgiving month and its programs went well with success in BCC Sydney.
· Praise God for all church prayer teams actively praying and interceding on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, FNL with youth and Young Adults.
· Praise God for answers of prayers during August 2026 for healings, helps and salvation also for Pastor Shane and Ma Cho Lay trip to Europe and USA.
· Praise the Lord for successful Norway Life Changers conference 2026 and a baptism in Bakersfield went well according to God’s will

· Praise God for continuing ministries of Wollongong, Wagga, SYNA local and global missions.
· Praise God for Heartbeat church, Merrylands Baptist, Lidcombe Baptist church for their kindness and good relationship with us.
· Praise God for men and women, forever young group, youth and young adults and children groups love and care for one another.
· Praise God as 2026 BCC building renovation is starting this month

September 2026 Prayer points

· Pray for BCC Sydney spring time Fathers’ day service and outreaches.
· Pray for Peace and stability in the world and Myanmar as civil war is getting very serious with lots of bloodshed and internally displaced people by civil war, and earthquake and floods.
· Pray for parents and grandparents who are serving and bringing their children, grandchildren and their husbands to our church fellowship faithfully.
· Pray for world peace including Israel and Jerusalem, USA, Iran and all Middle East Countries China, India, Sudan, Ukraine, Russia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Thailand, South and North Korea, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Nepal and Indonesia and Palestinian.
· Pray for refugees and internally displaced people in Gaza, Lebanon, West Bank, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Ukraine, Africa.
· Pray for Bunning sausage sizzles on September 19th to be successful as outreaches and assistance to church youth and locally and global missions.
· Pray for our family members who have children with special needs.
· Pray for complete healing for Doreen Tun, Ko Joe, Ma Lwin Mar Aye, Ma Si Si WA, Ma Lay , Ma Aye Hla, (Cancer) , Ko James Thet (Eyes), Uncle Maurice, Jem Apostol, Daw Khin Khin Win, Steven Laban (Wagga) as they battle with health issues and ongoing treatment.
· Pray for our BCC Sydney alliance churches in Australia and world-wide.
· Pray for our church renovation works will start during this month.
· Pray for a meaningful BCC Forever young group new Christmas musical project.
· Pray that our church and Heartbeat church will have more of combined worship and work together more.
